Apartments Hotel 130 rock
TEL AVIV – DEC 2012
Interior Design hotel apartments, rooms, lobby, furniture and lighting, materials, colors and more …
I was invited to design an apartment hotel on Gordon Street corner of Dizengoff. The hotel was built in the eighties and in a geometric aesthetic, simple and repetitive design. On the first floor, as befits the street where it is located, there are various trade shops, the floors above, many years operated an offices.
At first, the building seems to me that gross, I did not understand all the bumps and missing charm of the 45 degree angle. But as far as I continued to write it down and look at it, the uniqueness of the building started to become clear to me, I even started to like him. Even the program, structure and internal division, was characteristic zigzag line such mock. In the end, I think it was the essence of formal structure and its geometric pathogen. I decided to go with it and use it as a motif, I was looking for different interpretations of the theme of a program and distribution, materials and various functions, all to do with the design of the rooms, furniture and finishing materials.
